James Joins the Team

We’re proud to announce the addition of a new full-time team member, James Prola, to our ranks here at Immersus Media. James is joining us as our Art Director and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on. Immersus Media is passionate about well crafted design and development and James is exactly the kind of person we want on our team to reach those goals.
Work Background
James is the kind of guy that ‘gets stuff done’ regardless of obstacles.
James, with over 10 years of experience in the film industry, recently worked as a stereographer at Legend 3D, an industry leading conversion studio. While working on films such as The Amazing Spiderman 2, Man of Steel, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon, he managed teams up to 100 artists, budgets upwards of 1.3 million dollars, and worked on over eleven feature films and nine commercial motion pictures.
Not only does James have a background in 3D design and film making, but he’s a pretty darn good visual designer to boot. His passion for mixed media was birthed out of his studies at Parson School of Design back in 2002. He officially joined a few months ago and we’ve been consistently impressed with his skills and ability to learn new things in a completely different field than he’s recently been working in. James is the kind of guy that “gets stuff done” regardless of obstacles.
I’ve had the privilege of having known James for many years now and I’m ecstatic that I get to work with James everyday. We originally started working together right out of college way back in 2005 focusing on video editing. We parted ways shortly after but I’ve been pestering him to come join my company, now focused on design and development and quickly growing, for a long time. It only took seven years to finally convince him to come on board!

Getting Personal
James and his lovely wife, Elissa, currently reside in Santa Barbara with their dog, Rincon. James enjoys surfing, photography, paleontology, sneaking up on fish with his brother, and adventuring with friends and family. You should get to know him. He’s on Twitter and Instagram.
